It’s a Southern Thing

BTE was awesome last night, even if they did go all pro-LSU on me at the end of the show. Those sons of bitches. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little concerned about the game this afternoon, but our boys have shown us all year that they’re going to be up for the game, so if LSU wins, it means they’re probably a better team, but here’s hoping the Tide rolls again. Points or no points, I don’t care… I’ll take a 2-0 win. For real.

Last week was a great example of the fact that I need to get a hold of my life. Seriously. On Monday I decided not to miss any more class (I haven’t missed that much, but it’s crunch time). Little did I know I was going to tear my last pair of contacts on Tuesday morning… which caused me to miss class. Things sort of got away from me. I didn’t get as much done on my outlining as I had hoped — really I didn’t get as much work done on anything as I had hoped, so this weekend I’m really hoping to get back in control and kick some ass. I went out last night to get it out of my system and despite a fairly slim crowd at Scotty’s (law school kids: that was sad, we can do better!) but there were enough to make it a good time… so big ups to Chrissy for getting some folks there.

Today I’m hoping to get substantially finished with one project and get some research done for my final writing assignment of the semester, a part of which is due Tuesday.

Oh, and just FYI… win or lose, if anyone comments with pro-LSU garbage, I’m just going to edit your comments in the most juvenile and sophomoric way possible. This is a “Roll Tide” only sector.
