Just in case you were wondering how much is too much tequila… it seems that an enterprising young man in the Dominican Republic found one possible upper bound: 50 shots.
The 21-year-old winner of a competition to drink the most tequila died and three other contestants were gravely ill in the hospital, officials said.
Ricardo Ivan Garcia drank more than 50 shots of tequila Sunday night at Santo Domingo’s Blanc, Dance and Lounge discotheque to win the prize of $330 at a Mexican night celebration.
So, in conclusion, if you’re going to drink a lot of tequila in one night, try to keep it below 50 shots. I’m not sure what you’d all do without me.

CK… tequila is bad, bad, bad… just look at what it does to the poor worm!! Tequila shots will make you loco. If you are going to drink… do something smooth like Bacardi or Crown or SoCo. If you want to shoot something… I like Goldschlager and jager (but people say I’m crazy for liking jager!)
Bobby: Good Tequila is smooth. Also, tequila doesn’t have worms — that’s Mezcal. Oh and Goldschlager and Jager are novelty shots, not REAL shots.
