So I got a random comment from someone who’s been visiting my site fairly regularly lately and decided to speak up. As a matter of full disclosure, it must be noted that over half of the times this person has visited it’s been from Nick Borghardt’s “website”… just so you know.
What I did not realize, dear readers, is that this masked person — obviously too enamored by their own skill to leave a name — is actually a bona fide expert on Pete Holiday. The comment was a priceless analysis of the inner workings of my psyche… let’s have a look, shall we?
This comment was left in response to Call a Spade a Spade.
Um, I don’t understand your logic here, if you have any which I don’t think you do.
Let me break it down nice and simple for you, since reading doesn’t seem to be a strong point: Political Correctness is Bullshit. Got it now?

I was ridiculing her opinion, not her. It seems so many have a problem differentiating between good arguments and ad hominem. As for labels… I used one… “arrogant white girl.” The last two are a given, and the first I can easily justify given my opinion of what arrogance is. No falseness there. You might disagree with the label but, fortunately, you’re not mankind’s arbiter of truth. Sorry to break the news to you.

Gee, thanks for the sage wisdom. Do I owe you for the advice? As Kim adequately pointed out in the comments, CKI was not my employer. Not even close. In fact, the relationship is the other way around. CKI works for the members, not vice versa. I’ll excuse your poor command of the facts in this case as it seems to be your modus operandi.
You appear ill-equipped to argue here. Go back to school and return when you’ve learned a thing or two about logic, reason, and the English language.

You have this want, this need, to always show to your peers that you are more intelligent than everyone else you come in contact with. That is my OPINION about you from reading your response to me, and your responses to other people, and yes, I have read enough.

I’ve heard from friends in law school and my own cousin that all one has time for is to read and study, with no time for anything else, so where you get the hours and hours to track people you don’t know, I guess we will never know.

I don’t care if the label is false or not false, in a logical debate or conversation with someone, YOU DON’T LABEL PEOPLE YOU DON’T KNOW! That is what the “arrogant white girl” has a problem with, what I have a problem with, and the same problem everyone else with whom you try to outshine your intelligence over. She clearly states, “Since you don’t know me either, you cannot make comments about the people in my medical class, more people you DON’T KNOW.” That and labeling people, such as arrogant white girl is how you aggravate and annoy people you try to talk to or debate with. Well, considering I graduated with a degree in COMMUNICATIONS, and I work at a television station, I believe I know plenty about logic and of the English language, since the news YOU get from us is written with logic and in the English language!

All that showed to me was you trying to show your rebellion against the CKI International Board or Kiwanis, or both, b/c of what the official website offered. Right on! Nobody pointed a gun at me and forced me to link your site to mine, and I am revisiting Encyclopetia on my own free will. But I figured out these dunderheads will come and harass us, even though there are thousands of blogs that cater to their point-of-view (however misguided), because, unlike you and me, the wrong thoughts can be as criminal as the wrong actions. Heaven help us if they ever get into power!!
