I did a good bit of packing today. I did not like it. I realized I’ve been in a bit of a bad mood this week, partially because I have a lot of things to do and I don’t really want to deal with any of them.
I went to Bloomington last weekend for a tailgate, which was simultaneously fun and a little bit sad. First, because I’m a freaking adult now and not a law student. Being a student was pretty awesome. I also think it was a little easier to deal with the break up1 when we were living hundreds of miles apart. Long story short, I got a bit nostalgic for the good ol’ days.
This time next week, things should be a little different. Getting back to work and getting into a routine will help out a lot.
I’m also really looking forward to the trip to Chicago this weekend. Should be a good break from the packing and moving nonsense.
Which, by all accounts, went as well as it could have gone

You will be sorely missed, Pete. I hate having to cook for just myself.
I may even miss the Scout hair all over the steps in the hall.
Don’t get robbed in Atlanta.
