I watched football last night and it was good. The watching, I mean, not the actual games. The games were mostly terrible. Stanford/Oregon State was good, but the rest were pretty awful. I’m headed to Bloomington tonight to eat some sushi, go out there one last time before the move to Atlanta, and take in another Whiffing-Family tailgate. Scout is coming. Good times (and bourbon) will be had by all. Or maybe just me.
I will also be watching the ‘Bama game, although it scares me just a little. I’m really anticipating a pretty big loss for the Tide… though I’d be really happy to be proven wrong. I just think they’re a little too young and inexperienced to make a run at Clemson. Then again, Clemson is basically the king of under-performing, so maybe they’ll help us out a little bit.
Either way, it’s still football season, and that makes me a happy Pete.
