Biden? Really? That’s the best he could do?
The biggest draw to Obama is the mostly scandal-free, “not business as usual” angle. So, what, he felt he was at a disadvantage because he didn’t have any typical Washington bullshit floating around his campaign and felt compelled to add some?
He chose a law school plagiarist and resume-padder. Biden once said “I exaggerate when I’m angry” after being caught in a series of lies. This guy was responsible for the comments that Obama was “articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy” and the guy who talked down to a guy asking a question by responding “I think I have a much higher I.Q. than you do.”
Good lord.
Would it have really have killed him to pick up someone like Lieberman? Sure, he’d lose a few wackjobs from the far left, but he’d pick up virtually every moderate in the country. It would be a landslide.
I’m not sure I’ll vote for McCain, but I just don’t think I can get behind an Obama/Biden ticket. What I wonder is how all of these folks who run around calling Bush a liar are going to square that with voting for a repeat-offending plagiarist.
