Things have been in a state of flux lately, and there should be more news in the coming days, but I wanted to hit some of the highlights here on a Monday morning:
- PeteHoliday.com saw it’s 10,000th comment (not a typo) here over the weekend. Thanks to Bobby and everyone else who comments. I think that’s pretty cool.
- I’m starting to blog at football blog Sideline Warning again this year. It’s going to be more of a link-blog with occasional features, so it should be easier to not let it “peter out”. If any of you are interested in either a) posting links to the link blog or b) writing a feature there (either regularly or a one-off), please let me know. I’d be happy to have more folks contributing.
- Speaking of that, the football season is SO CLOSE. I’m getting pumped. ‘Bama’s going to have some rough patches to weather this year, but I’m still excited to see what happens.
- I’m going to Chicago in a few weekends, so I’m looking forward to that, and I’m hoping to set my Tuscaloosa and Bloomington visit schedules in short order.
- The Free Music Monday feature is planning a return, although with a bit of a change to keep me from getting sued into oblivion. If you have recommendations, please shoot me an email.
My agenda for today includes a little down-time with the XBox360 and NCAA 2009. What about y’all?

New? I’m apparently building a Kiwanis club. Apparently it will work. Wow, is that ever frightening.
In other news, I’m looking forward to the Fringe, to the end of summer and to hopefully getting the time off of work to use the tix I’ve won to Oasis and to Simple Plan.
