Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow citizens of the world, I bring great news from teh intarwebz. It seems that I’ve been nominated for yet another “hot blogger” contest.

Last time I earned a #9 seed, won my first-round match-up, and progressed on. Eventually it turned into a total fiasco, and while I don’t know that anyone won, I certainly didn’t either.

This time around, the stakes are higher. In this particular contest The top 12 men and the top 12 women will be put on a calendar1.

I’ll be sure to announce the voting, but in the mean time, feel free to check out the other nominees: men & women.

  1. I’m yet unconvinced that this is for real, but it’s worth a shot, right? Pascal’s wager and all.

  1. This is, indeed for real! There will be a shoot party and a really-truly calendar featuring the 24 winners.

  2. Dude, seriously? You’re nominated for this (lacking a better term) thing too?

I am up entirely too late tonight, not because I am enjoying the finer things in life, like a mint julep on the veranda with Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, but because I have spent a good deal of time reading this blog of yours (you’re funny).

It should be noted that I first accessed the internet to Google Image search “Cat Hummer,” not because I was seeking kitty porn (everyone knows I’m into primates – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13YtT5RElwo – anyway) but because I sought after a photo of a cat in the driver’s seat of one of those ridiculous, I mean awesome vehicles everyone drives about due to the mountainous terrain here in Springfield. I was unsuccessful in my search, although I did not submit additional queries.

How I digressed to your blog is not readily apparent, but I have enjoyed my time. I shall have to make an effort to frequent more regularly.

I should like to point out that the customization of my comments entry is severely limited, e.g. no strike through, and no hyperlinks.

It’s not limited, you just have to be clever know the secret code.

A friend asked me to nominate a “hot blogger.” Who else would I think of?
