Due to some issues with the current employer, I’ve decided to take a position with an IT Consulting firm in Atlanta. I haven’t quite settled on a place to live yet, but I anticipate I’m going to end up near the Lindbergh Metra station in Buckhead (at least I think it’s in Buckhead, my Atlanta geography needs some work). My last day here at the office is Friday, but I won’t start in the ATL until the second week in September.

The current challenge is collecting enough cash to actually move… I have a generous relocation allowance, but it’s all reimbursed, so I still need to front the cash and some of it (like deposits at the new place) aren’t covered at all.

I also plan to go through all of my crap and toss a bunch of it out, which should make moving out and in a whole lot easier. I really need to quit moving all the damn time, though, so hopefully I’ll pick a decent apartment and the job will go well so I can get a little stability.

If any of you have any get rich quick schemes, I’d love to hear them.
