The Judge I interviewed with last week has narrowed his potential pool of clerks for next year to four, and I am one of them. He’s expected to make a decision this week, which is awesome. I hope there’s no unwritten rule against accepting a job on the spot, because that’s what I’ll do if it’s offered to me. I’ve heard good things about him, and really enjoyed the interview… the pay isn’t quite what I thought it was going to be, but it’s not terrible and it’ll be phenomenal experience. Sweet!
Last week I remembered to watch Moment of Truth and… eh. Such potential, but it really drags. It’s a lot like 1 vs. 100 in that regard — it’s almost unbearable if you’re not watching it on TiVo: the questions-per-minute ratio is too low. They also need to get the folks from Jerry Springer in there to spice things up. There’s so much untapped train-wreck potential there.
Finally, you may recall having been uncomfortably energetic in the past. Maybe even having 400 babies. The drink that made it all possible (Powerthirst) has a second advertisement out. It’s not as funny as the first, but it’s still pretty good. Enjoy:
Oh, and the Washed-up College Players World Championship Game is tomorrow. Predicted winner? The Flying Elvises… probably by a few touchdowns.
