Seriously. Was anyone surprised by the BCS title game last night? Anyone? Besides Buckeye fans, of course, who were convinced that this was the year they got that SEC monkey off their backs.
It wasn’t. Just like last year, the Bucks got out to a quick start, but eventually the talent differential caught up with them. The team coached by the biggest moron in college football managed to man-handle tOSU.
This year’s BCS games were awful. The BCS is broken. The bowl system has grown to the point that it’s meaningless — did you see the GMAC Bowl? Tulsa beat Bowling Green by several touchdowns. Eight of them, in fact. Between that and the blow-outs in the BCS games, what more evidence does one need?
Oh well. Another BCS Title for the SEC… which shouldn’t be a surprise. The SEC is now 11-4 in BCS bowls.
