In Tuscaloosa and around the college football world, fans cheer in unison. Taunting cheers, kick-off cheers, fight songs… all of it. The crowd does it together. It’s impressive if you’re standing down on the field. Never in my life, though, have I heard fans SO in-sync that they could sound like a skipping CD! Those Colts fans sure are awesome!
Now, this video is obviously put together by someone who doesn’t understand the skill required for Colts fans to work this out… but listen for the new skipping-cheer chant:
Of course, others are saying that this is “pumped in” crowd noise… but after all of the sanctimonious whining and lecturing Indy fans did after Belichick’s tape recording scandal, I just don’t believe that the Colts would be breaking the rules like that… so it just has to be a really incredible act of coordination.
Right?

Please don’t interrupt when I’m trying to be snarky.
Reality really ruins it.

So I actually defended all this BEFORE I read your blog…which makes me admire all the more your restraint as I stood astride my Colts soapbox tonight
