Yesterday Doug (et al.) threw the biggest and best tailgate I’ve seen north of the Mason-Dixon line. There were lots of people there and everyone seemed to have a good time. I probably drank too much bourbon (if such a thing is possible) and, though I don’t know why, my legs are sore. Hell, even my DOG is sore (you should see him dragging himself around the house today, it’s pretty sad).
I was a little disappointed in the business school folks. They mostly kept to themselves (the joint degree people were great, as usual). We had all sorts of lawn games, food, drink, places to mingle… but they mostly sat around in a circle talking to each other. They were nice enough if you went and tried to talk to them… but, uh, they didn’t do such a good job of “networking” with the law kids.
Also? The Michigan and Notre Dame losses? Wow. Hey, Appalachian is HOT HOT HOT!
