Everyone realizes that there’s something of an early-adopter tax. Buying gadgets the day they come out costs a whole lot more than waiting. Look at the Razr. That thing was super expensive when it first came out, now it might as well grow on trees. Everyone has one.

Typically this happens on the time frame of years.

Apple made it a little more obvious this week when they dropped the iPhone price by $200. At least now we know how much it costs to be “cool.”

The new iPod Touch looks cool… I vaguely recall saying that if they came out with a widescreen, touch-enabled video iPod that I’d buy one. I guess I need to start saving my pennies.
