The last post is turning out like most online debates with Dizzy do: lots of goalpost moving, argument shifting, and the sticking of various heads in the sand… so let’s talk about something else:

First of all: last night’s conference championship games? The only possible way that this could be worse is if Dallas was there instead of the Bears. My time in Illinois and my affinity for the Packers has lead me to a relatively intense dislike for the Bears… and it only took 3 months around Colts fans (and the fact that Peyton Manning is still around) to grow to dislike the Colts… so basically Superbowl XLI, to me, is another Meteor Bowl. I’m cheering for the Bears, though, because there are fewer of their fans running around here.

Second, and most interestingly… apparently one of the Zebra’s natural predators is the hippo… the Hungry Hungry Hippo.

Finally… I had been participating in Project 365, but I lost my camera the other day, so that’s on hold. If anyone found it at the Around the World party this weekend, it’d be really awesome if I could get it back.

  1. If Ed Hocculi was the zebra… he would punch that hippo in the mouth and flex his muscles and all that…

    anyways…

what do you think about the striped sweatpant-looking pants the NFL refs now wear? I actaully take them less seriously now that they wear those weird looking things.

  2. Go Peyton!!!!! :o)

  3. I second your disdain about the Super Bowl matchup, and, like you, my sole reason for rooting for Chi-Town stems from the gads of people running around yelling “Go Horse” (albeit justifiably given the success of their season). I hate Peyton though. A lot.
