Miami has been the gold-standard when it comes to thuggery and general classlessness. I can’t say for certain when it started, but it clearly still goes on. Before you get all preachy… I’m not talking about the brawl.
I’m talking about the TV commentator’s comments AFTER the brawl… fast forward to about 1:50 in:
That guy? The one who regressed into thug-speak? That’s Lamar. Lamar Thomas. If that name sounds vaguely familiar to you Alabama fans, it’s probably because he’s been shown on the jumbotron every home game for at least the last 6 years.
He’s probably still angry that the most famous thing he did in his college career was having the football taken away from him in the national championship game.
Today this whole story just got a little better: Lamar Thomas was fired.
