The Problem with our Country

FARK Headline: Five guys armed with a shotgun and a pistol try to rob a waiter. Waiter pulls knife. Marine waiter laughs at adage about bringing a knife to a gunfight

The article says:

The five suspects pulled up in a car and confronted the victim in the 500 block of Penn Street just before midnight.

The victim began running down the street yelling for help. Residents who heard him called 911. While he was running, the victim pulled a pocket knife from his backpack.

Two of the robbers jumped from the car. When one of the robbers pointed a shotgun at him, the victim kicked it out of his hands.

At that point two of the robbers jumped on the victim. During the struggle he stabbed both of them. One, a female, died of her wounds. A second is in critical condition.

But in the comments on FARK, we get this dumbass:

Wouldnt the smartest idea be to give the muggers the money? Shure he was a marine but what the hell? does anyone deserve death for mugging people? i know i know… it was a struggle - But someones daughter died…

criminals are still human - not animals that jump from the bushes and are to be killed by victims.

People like this have got to be one of the biggest problems in our country right now. Five people (with firearms) attack one guy… and then we get these folks mourning for the attackers. Good lord.
