Well… Jesus saw his shadow… six more weeks of winter for everyone!

I’ve been quite the truant this week… but I don’t care. Tomorrow is our last day of class for the semester, then I have to begin learning a semester worth of property… and then two semesters worth of contracts… then some Civ Pro… and then some Con Law. But because I’ve been such a slacker of a student, the weekend still seems like it’s not too far in the past.

It was pretty awesome, though. Three of us went up and had Easter lunch with ‘Manda, her parents, and two of her grandparents. The food was amazing… and there was an Easter egg hunt. I always lose Easter egg hunts. After Jenny and Mitch headed back, ‘Manda and her Mom volunteered to get beat at Euchre by her father and I. Good times.

Shortly thereafter we high-tailed it back to B-town because there were HORRIBLE APOCALYPTIC STORMS COMING!

As you might have guessed… it drizzled and there was some thunder. And you wonder why people don’t take weather alerts seriously.

Lately, lots of things have been going on. The Ultimate team has been gearing up for regionals. I won’t be going as it’s the weekend between exams. If they win Regionals I will rejoin them for nationals in Columbus. I’ve been working on finishing my Marine Corps application. I’ve been continuing to enjoy law school and most of my classmates.

I’m looking forward to being done with my first year of law school (and one year closer to total world domination) and then spending a week on the beach in florida with the whiffings. If I’m lucky, I won’t have to take any work with me courtesy of the slave driver.

This is an interactive post. You can either post: a) what you’re doing for this summer and/or b) who you think the first person from my class to be disbarred is going to be (hint: It won’t be me).

  1. Well, since you asked…

I’m going to be working all summer, and spending as much time with friends as possible. And maybe, on rare occasions get a little sleep *before* death.

  2. Hi darling. I’ll be working in Louisville and keeping tabs on you via the lovely Miss Whiffing. Poor dear. YOU are a full-time job.

  5. Right . . . and who won the Easter egg hunt? And no comments about home-field advantage! I won my 9 dollars, 4 condoms and 5 lottery tickets fairly, thank you!

  6. TMI

  7. Summer? Hmmm… work, play… spend a month in Montreal improving my French (yay for getting that bursary)… trip to Boston for CKI ICON… maybe a trip to Montana (I’m waivering)… a few other excursions probably… but mostly just more of what I’m doing now, without the classes thing! :)
