Originally I thought I’d be happy to get this thing out of the way on Monday, but when I realize all of the crazy stuff that was going on that day, I realized it was going to be a bit trying. But I love pressure, so I guess it was okay.
I didn’t get as much preparation done as I’d have wanted. I didn’t get my introduction memorized, so I had to read it. I read out loud relatively well, though, so it wasn’t horrible. Not as good as I’d have liked, but whatever. I didn’t get to practice at all, either, so it was a bit jumbled in parts and not quite as focused in parts as I’d have liked.
Luckily for me, the appellate argument style is something I do relatively well natrually. That’s pretty much how I hold a debate/discussion with anyone in person, so once they got me off of the scripted stuff, I did well handling questions, answering them directly then explaining, citing to case law, and so on. Obviously, I could’ve done all of it better, and will have to if I want to have any success in Moot Court next year, but for a first time, it wasn’t too bad.
And now? I’m done with LRW. Yay me.

Congrats on finishing up LRW! Do you think you’re going to do Moot Court next year?

Absolutely, it may be the only thing in law school that I’m good at.
