Today the Public Interest Law Foundation had their annual “Singing for Summer Salaries”. People donate money in a professor’s name, and the one with the most money at the end has to sing a song of their choosing. Last year Prof. Geyh sang “Lawyers, Guns, and Money”… this year Prof. Heidt sang I Say a Little Prayer by Dionne Warwick.

I sat close enough to get some mediocre video with my camera and tossed it together for everyone’s viewing. You can see it posted on YouTube or, I suppose, if the code below works, you can watch it right here.

I’m not going to lie. I thought this was really funny. Doing this in previous years exposed professors to untold risk of photographs and maybe a vew scattered VHS recordings. Now-a-days, however, do something like this and video will be posted on the net within hours.

  1. that was rather amusing.

  2. It’s almost better on video than it was in person. Almost, I say almost.

I can’t believe how many people missed it, but I should have known you would come through for all of those with “more important” things to do… :-P

  3. pete, you are the greatest. please don’t ever take down this post.
