Friday when all was right with the world and my classmates and I were gettin’ our drink on in celebration of the end of finals, I put out of my mind the fact that this week would be spent slaving away at the law library, working on my last legal writing assignment1.

It’s not much, and I have a bit of it done already, but motivation? Yes, she is lacking a bit.

I’m going to be spending several hours over the next few days here, whether I like it or not, but I’ve also got a few other projects up my sleeve for the break.

One of which is a present for my blog readers. Another of which is my annual year in review post, which always takes a while to put together. Then there are some things for Fanblogs the college football blog … and a few blog designs.

In other words? I’m having a busy time. But if you’re in town, I’ve got plenty of time for you because I’m not doing any law school (after this LRW assignment is done) work until mid-january.

1 - Just to quell the rumors that have either a) already started or b) will surely start if not preempted — I am working on the last part of the last LRW assignment of the semester. The delay has to do with my father’s death back in November, which I found out about the day before the second part was due. The due date for my second part was moved back a few days and I was to do what I could to get the third part done by the time it was due a week later. With the funeral, helping with things ahead of time, and just generally dealing with stuff and things, I did not get it done in time. Dean Fromm did not want me working on LRW while everyone else was studying for finals and Prof. Daghe agreed to extend the deadline until after finals were over, which was very considerate and gracious of them both. So that’s that.
