So here are some things worth mentioning…

Study finds link between oral sex and mouth cancer — that rushing sound you just heard was every male on the planet signing the “Find a cure for cancer” petition. [via Kristina]

Glypho: collaborative novel writing — ridiculously good idea. Someone posts an idea for a novel, other people make character and plot suggestions, anyone who wants to writes the first chapter — the “winning” first chapter is voted on by the readers, and so on. [via your mom]

Two more fellow 1Ls joined the blogging revolution… Grant can be found Doing things with words and Pinkston (of Gunner Bingo fame) is a great waste of time. Now, the sooner those fuckers link to me the better off we’ll all be. [via Doug]

I used to feel like a whiny bitch when I complained about how crappy IU Law’s network has been… and then I read this post and immediately had to concede the “Trite, Whiny Bitch” title to an SLU 2L who is advising prospective 1Ls not to attend SLU because… wait for it… they have to register for classes on paper instead of the internet… THE HORROR! Someone call FEMA! OR THE UN!!1!one! [via Matt]

Finally, congrats to TSCGirl who Passed the New Jersey Bar — of course, her punishment is that now she has to work in New Jersey… but some people are masochists.

  1. Awww thanks :)

  2. If you had read my post more carefully, or considered it in the context of past posts, you would know that having to register with pen and paper wasn’t the reason I was advising people not to attend SLU. It wasn’t even the reason I wrote that entry. It was the fact that our school seems unable to efficiently handle any aspect of our educations. As for the most recent failure of promised improvements, I described it as “the tipping point” that made me suggest people not attend SLU. See also, “the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

And honestly, if you are in law school you must be at least 22 years old. Aren’t we all past the name calling stage?

Finally, also for the record, I did not remove the post in question nor any other from my blog. I was notified this morning - by some of my many classmates who agree with me - that all the content had been removed from my site. The password has also been changed, so I am unable to write to explain the situation.
