Oh lord. The lefties are at it again. It’s amazing how, if you want to see the bad in people, everything looks like a clear impeachment of their character. Take this for example:
[Congressman Tom DeLay ®] likened their stay to being at camp and asked, “Now tell me the truth boys, is this kind of fun?” They nodded yes, but looked perplexed.
Are we to presume that those boys have looked anything but perplexed for the last week or two?
Besides, let’s be honest here… he wasn’t talking to a bunch of adults who fully grasp the reality and tragedy of the situation… he was speaking to some confused kids who are likely looking for something, anything, to help them cope with the disaster… and I’d guess that this sort of thing would probably help them a lot — to make this a fun thing instead of some unbearable burden.
Now as for Barbara Bush’s comments last week… I don’t even pretend to understand what she meant… they were very confusing and probably not real bright… but these? The partisan left is stretching.
