Short post — my eye is bothering me. I think I scratched it. Should be better tomorrow.
Yesterday I just did a whole lot of work. Work work work. Then I got a call from a fellow 1L who saw my post on the 1L website and invited me out to the bars. Needing desperately to get out of the house, I went. Ended up being three of us — the other two were cool. We pre-partied a little and then hit Nick’s and had a few pitchers and just talked about random stuff. Pretty cool. One of the girls went to U. Dayton so, thanks to good ol’ Kim, we had stuff in common to talk about. Turns out that Ms. Dayton is in my section for the fall. It’s all sort of becomming real now. Weird.
Today I worked a whole lot more and the new roomie Dava moved in. She seems pretty laid back and easy to get along with, so no problems there. Finally got a desk to put the compy on — but we’re still on AOL for a few more agonizing days.
Orientation starts monday. Have Ulty practice tomorrow, 1L Fantasy Football Draft/Social on Sunday, and a bunch of stuff to do between now and then.
For now, however, I think I’m going to bed to let my eye rest some. Stupid eye.
