I really wanted to throw ‘Bama in the mix, but I just couldn’t justify it until we see how the young line holds up and how Brodie does. If they make a good showing early on, they’ll make the list quickly.

Wow, that’s as much respect as I believe I’ve ever seen my Sun Devils receive in a poll of any sort. I certainly hope you’re right, but I fear this year may be a disappointment. Keller certainly has the potential to lead the team through a remarkable season, but I fear Coach Koetter’s recent remarks about the Devils looking “sluggish” may prove to be all too much the case. Sounds awfully familiar to his assessment of the 2003 Sun Devils team that finished in last place in the conference. The Devils’ ability to stay competitve with LSU in Baton Rouge will be VERY telling of how this season will go…go Devils!
