Do you remember me? Yeah, I’m back. What’s been going on? Let me tell you.

Monday morning I got up and went to get the trailer. There was someone there who actually knew what he was doing and I was out of there in 20 minutes with a 50% discount on the trailer. And then I drove. And drove. And drove.

I hate Tennessee. The entire hilly, orange-covered state. I was supposed to hit Nashville by 4:00 so I could get a check cashed at a Bank of America… but I didn’t make it until 4:15… so no check cashing for me. Stupid hills. Stupid tennessee.

I got to talk on the phone a lot while I was driving. Charlsie, Mandy, Kim, Hilary, and so on… it was good and really passed the time. I also talked with Kecia quite a bit trying to get internet setup at the house. Despite our best efforts, we won’t have high-speed internet until Tuesday. So, for now, I’m on AOL Dial-up. Gah.

One immediate consequence of me not getting that check cashed in Nashville was that I had to drive to Illinois on Tuesday to get it cashed… so that was boring.

Over the past few days I’ve spent a lot of money and only unpacked about half as much as I should have. Kecia and I are getting settled… Dava moves in tomorrow, even though half of her stuff is already here.

I finally talked UA into emailing a note to IU to say that I’ve finished everything. So now all that’s left to hash out is the money… minor detail (ha). Orientation starts on monday. I’m ready… I’m so sick of just sitting around bored.

I hit up IU ultimate practice on Tuesday, but tonight I’m missing it because I really need to get some work done.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Dial-up?

I have a new eye doctor here in town… one of the many “new so-and-sos” that I’m going to be acquiring. I was pleased with my first visit… if you’re in town and looking for an optometrist, check out Bloomington Optometry in the yellow pages. Good stuff.

So I’m working on a time to go back to AL… but when are you Alabama people going to visit ME? That’s what I want to know.

Also, if any of you posted anything on your blogs that I need to read, let me know… I’m going to be skimming blogs pretty lightly to get caught back up tomorrow and I might miss a lot of stuff.
