You know what annoys me? No, besides that. Those holier-than-thou “shut up and drive” people. You know what? The cell phone is not the most dangerous thing people do while driving, and I would venture a guess it’s not even the most dangerous thing commonly done while driving.
Would you like to know something else, you Shut-Up-and-Drive zealots? I talk on the phone and drive all the time and guess what… most of the time I don’t even use a headset. Guess what else! I drive a manual transmission vehicle. OH NOES! Oh, also… I’ve done more stupid things while driving WITHOUT my cell phone than I ever do driving WITH my cell phone.
I’ve never run a stop sign or red light on my cell phone. Never been in an accident on my cell phone. Really the worst that’s ever happened was that I got pulled over for speeding and given a warning. You know what that tells me? I can handle it just fine. So leave me alone.
And if you even think about doing this, there’s going to be hell to pay.

Seriously, I don’t know how people can drive stick and talk on the cell phone at the same time without putting any hands on the steering wheel. That’s just too dangerous!

I am the master of that high art, CK. The effing master.

Yes Jean, I have heard that before. But can your knees turn the wheel for you?

Mine can. They’re great knees.

I had a co-worker who could drive with her foot. One on the wheel and one on the pedals.
