For those of you here in Tuscaloosa, the format for this weekend’s College Sectionals here is set. If you want to see it for yourself, go here. If you’d rather me just tell you… keep reading.
‘Bama plays Vandy at 10:00am, AUBURN at 11:30am, and Spring Hill College at 1:00pm. After those games we’ll play another depending on our record against either LSU, Tulane, Birmingham Southern, or Ole Miss. The first three games on Saturday will be used to seed us in a bracket for Sunday, the first round of which will be played at 2:30pm on Saturday. The bracket play will continue on sunday and will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the section. The top 3 teams go on to the South Regionals (in either Dallas or Little Rock… TBA)… we have a legitimate shot at finishing in that top three if we play well.
While we’d love to see you out all day, we could definitely use some sideline support when we play Auburn at 11:30. If you can make it out, even just for a little bit, we’d all appreciate it. Tomorrow night we’ll all be hanging out at the Jupiter, so you should come.
