Uh oh! It looks like Stevie-poo couldn’t keep it up. The Kiwanis webserver, that is. It turns out that, after berating Manny, Amy, and I for using PHP — which he called “entry-level” despite the fact that it’s one of the most advanced server-side scripting languages available — he’s using MySQL on the Kiwanis webserver.

PHP is a major player in the server-side scripting market… MySQL is a major player in the ENTRY-LEVEL database market.
Must suck to be a hypocrite… and one who can’t even keep a webserver up. All I’m saying is that if doctors had failure rates equivalent to those seen with regards to the Kiwanis Websites, people would probably just cross their fingers and let Uncle Jethro perform their medical procedures at home.

Ha, and if nothing else it would keep the lawyers busy with malpractice suits!

Are you saying I should tell Uncle Jethro to back off?

I wish I had as many skillz as Steve, the experienced professional programer. But my site doesn’t have those sweet error messages. I guess I just suck.

Around the time that I posted this… for a while before and a while after.

Screwing up like that should get him placed on “suspended” status and he should have to make a public apology.
October 25th, 2004 at 2:55 pm
Don’t you mean “probationary” status? Or are you making up a new one for him?
October 25th, 2004 at 3:38 pm
Making up a new one, of course. Doesn’t Indianapolis make things up as they go along??
October 25th, 2004 at 3:46 pm
Yes, they are quite good at that.

I think that it may be not working again… either that or it’s my computer.
