I was listening to Adam Hood’s song “Million Miles Away” and mis-heard a line in the song where he actually says “There’s a sharp pain in my soul” as “There’s a shar-pei in my soul.” The mental image of this, as you might imagine, made me snicker.
I listened to the song more carefully, but found no references to Canaries, blue or otherwise.
Bonus Points for catching the subtle title reference — last sentence is a hint.

Good freakin’ lord. That took long enough.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I either have no readership, or that it’s horribly under-cultured.
Thank you, Daniel, for saving my faith in my friends and readers.
Question, though: did you get it from the title, or did you need the last sentence?

Pete, You’ve won a reader just for having the best tagline I’ve seen to date. Of course, the gratuitous TMBG reference helped. Sorry about the game on Saturday, I was there as a neutral observer and Bama’s defense was pretty great.

Matt — thanks for stopping by! I’m not a rabid TMBG fan, but I do appreciate their genius, and I’m happy to have another reader that knows what “TMBG” is.

From the title.
