Anyone still foolish enough to believe a word that Michael Moore says should do us all a favor and sterilize themselves. Suicide would also be acceptable. Nevertheless when I saw this story at Wizbang I knew that I had to write about it. Why?

Moore is misrepresenting The Pantagraph, my hometown paper back in Illinois (well, it’s actually a Bloomington Paper, but the Lexingtonian can hardly be classified as a “newspaper”). You can go hop on over to Wizbang, or check out The Pantagraph’s Bill Flick on the issue.

Essentially, Moore took a letter to the editor and made it look like it was an article published by the journalists at The Pantagraph.

What. a fucking. asshat.

I like their reference to Photoshop 9/11, funny stuff. I haven’t seen it, and I don’t really intend to, but that would seem to fit his style.

What? Fatboy Moore tell a lie? The only suprise should be that it’s no suprise! “Moore” to the point, it’s suprising that “moore” of his lies haven’ been exposed. I guess that makes it the 100 million dollar lies fest.

Is the film, 9/11 really worth watching?

I firmly believe that it’s worth watching. Why? No matter your beliefs, I feel that it is important to view all sides of the argument. Makes it easier to defend yours that way. As for is the content ‘true’, I dunno. I expect any documentary to be VERY biased, by its nature as a documentary.

That’s just silly, Ali… it’s important to view all REASONABLE sides, TRUTHFUL sides, and sides held in good faith… but Moore’s is none of those things.

It’s entertainment for the anti-bushies who want to get all worked up over it, and entertainment for the more reasonable folk who want to laugh at it. It’s not political discourse any more than is some crazy peace-nik screaming “BUSH IS HITLER!!!”
