An edgy new advertising campaign to promote organ donation hints that police officers should cut speeders who are organ donors some slack.

“Hey policeman,” a Cleveland billboard calls out, an arrow pointing to a donor insignia on a young man’s license, “give this guy a break.”



Ok…I read the full article and looked at the billboard. The city councilman quoted in the article is worried that it gives commuters the wrong idea that organ donors get preferencial treatment over non-organ donors.

Personally if I saw this billboard I would be worried that the implied message is: Organ Donors…it is ok to speed. We need to harvest your organs.
