I didn’t do much this past weekend (surprise). I did, however, get a chance to see Shrek 2. Good movie. I’m not sure if I like it better than the first one, but it is good. Any true geek will appreciate the nods to other movies, events, etc… I was quite fond of the Lord of the Rings reference, though I’m quite sure I missed a ton of good ones. Guess I’ll have to see it again.
I also raided K’s DVD collection and watched Catch Me If You Can, a movie which my mother has been suggesting I see for quite a while now. She claims that she wouldn’t put it past me to pull off some of those things — personally I think that’s giving me too much credit. Anyway, that was a pretty decent movie, too.
That stuff aside, I just got a lot of work done. Various and sundry projects are coming along nicely which will hopefully bring Manny and I both fame AND fortune.
How was YOUR weekend?

Shrek 2 was great. Most of the time, extremely hyped sequels like this end up sucking. But this one was really good. I think the original was slightly more funny, only because you were not expecting it to be so funny, so it kind of got you from nowhere.
