It seems that congratulations are in order…the little sister, Ara, is graduating from 8th Grade tonight. The brother is graduating from High School tomorrow night, even though he is wasting his diploma by attending a loathed institution like the University of Tennesuck… erm… Tennessee.
Anyway… congratulations to them… this is the one time it’s a pity the liberal moonbats weren’t right… if Iraq was a war for oil, the gas would be cheap enough for me to drive home this weekend.
So… go ahead and leave your congratulations for their respective graduations, and condolences for my brother’s future college attendance plans.

Congrats to all, and don’t listen to your stupid brother - go to whatever school you want

My Condolences to Ara and pete’s brother (rj is it?) for having to claim pete as your brother. heh heh

Matt, with all due respect, you’re a fool who obviously doesn’t know a damn thing about the SEC.
Tennessee sucks. Period. (Eric: why not keep up instead of comign back and leaving 25,000 comments? ;))
May 27th, 2004 at 10:05 pm
Congrats all around!!
May 28th, 2004 at 10:37 am
‘Grats, kidlets!
May 28th, 2004 at 11:41 am
Well… the kid is going to Tennessee… which on the surface seems a bit of a disgrace, but at least he is going to an SEC school… so it could have been worse. Besides, I hear “Donut Day With Phil Fulmer” is a riot!
May 28th, 2004 at 12:08 pm
I’m not entirely sure about that, Bobby…you know, the SEC isn’t exactly the height of… well… anything except football and gymnastics (and occasionally basketball). Besides, just because it can be worse doesn’t mean that it’s good.
May 28th, 2004 at 12:59 pm
Ooh, I got due respect before being called a fool. Sweet. However, I neither know a damned thing about the SEC nor have I ever claimed to. I proudly stand by my suggestion that RJ do as he damned well please.
PS How come I got the fool remark? Robert praised the school, I simply suggested RJ exercise free will. I sense some partisanship on that one
May 28th, 2004 at 1:01 pm
Well, it was half-joking… but there’s a difference between LIKING Tennessee and not knowing anything about Tennessee.
I’m not saying he shouldn’t exercise free will, but he should have better sense than that.

Damn that was quick. I don’t think where someone goes to undergrad school matters a whole lot, other than the fact that they have to go somewhere that they’ll enjoy. Post-graduate studies is a whole different ball game. I’m sure a lot of people would disagree, it’s just my opinion. Of course there are many reasons why going to a Yale is better than going to a SUNY Albany or whatever, but I just don’t think that it adds up to a whole lot. I think how you do at school, and how you fare on testing(GREs, LSATs, or whatever) plays a much larger role in determining grad school entrance ability than undergrad degree issuer. And if you’re just looking for a job, not post grad ed then interviewing skills are by far the most important (plus actually having the degree in the specified field, if applicable).
All of that was probably tangental to what you were referring to, but I thought I’d throw it out there anyway. Besides, he made his choice, now you have to support him. Also, I assumed you were joking, as I was jokingly referring to you as ‘you’re stupid brother’. As far as having good sense, I’m not sure it’s in his gene pool
May 28th, 2004 at 1:20 pm
Eep, misquoted myself as saying you’re instead of your… well, I’m an idiot (in addition to being a fool). Oh well.
May 28th, 2004 at 1:25 pm
How can they have Donut Day with Phat Phil Phulmer? Nobody else will get any donuts!
May 28th, 2004 at 2:50 pm
Oh… I HAVE to? Do I really? Nonsense. I don’t have to support him if I don’t want to and, frankly, I don’t support ANYONE attending school at the home of those hideous road-cone-orange clad bunch of hill-billy pigfuckers.
But hey, he’ll reap what he sows… if half of his closet ends up day-glo orange and he starts havign unnatural urges to fornicate with livestock, well… no sympathy here.
May 28th, 2004 at 3:00 pm
Oh my.
May 28th, 2004 at 3:12 pm
Pete, are you suggesting there is something that is more important about colleges than the collective success of their football programs? I mean, let’s not get all crazy here!
May 28th, 2004 at 8:48 pm
I’ve never seen you type such profanity, Pete!
May 28th, 2004 at 9:49 pm
You haven’t? That’s odd. I do it pretty frequently.
May 29th, 2004 at 10:58 am
I was kidding, Pete. Learn how to take a joke!
Oh, and thank you everyone!
May 29th, 2004 at 10:37 pm
Pete, admit yuour real nightmare. Next Christmas, instead of carols, you’ll be hearing Rocky Top being sung for the entire break.
May 29th, 2004 at 10:49 pm
Well… the nightmare comes after that, I hear the federal prison system isn’t to kind to skinny white boys that kill their brothers.
May 31st, 2004 at 6:19 pm
Then kill him in Alabama, no jury would convict you.
May 31st, 2004 at 6:21 pm
But your honor… he… he… *breaks down in tears* HE WENT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE… *sobs* I had to put him out of his misery.
June 3rd, 2004 at 9:47 pm
Thanks everyone! Everyone be ready on October 23rd when my VOLS tear apart Pete’s tide. GO VOLS
June 3rd, 2004 at 9:51 pm
Yes. His Viles will “tear apart” the Tide like the did last year.
In five overtime periods.
After ‘Bama had three chances to win.
With the thinnest squad in the SEC.
And hell, by then Fulmer may be trying to get some appeals court to let him out of prison.
ROLL TIDE.
