Last night, while I was fast asleep, my good friend Matt Schuh gave me a call from the O’Keefe-Zelman/Johnson victory party. Unfortunately, however, because I was asleep Matt had to talk to my voicemail. This did not deter him and Julie [Johnson] from speaking at length (two minutes and thirty-two seconds, to be precise) about a narrow range of topics.
It was, however, the ABSOLUTE best drunk voicemail message EVER! Julie and Matt both had large speaking roles, and both were very entertaining. It’s messages like that that make me momentarily disappointed that I got screwed out of the ASU Scholarsihp.
Oh well. I miss Julie and Matt… maybe I’ll have to visit Tempe sometime.
