Of TP and Waterless Urinals

More Potty Talk.

Earlier this week, on my blog BadGroove, I posted a “tidbits” post. One of the many things I posted about was the state of the TP in the women’s restroom at work. In that entry I surmised that the lack of paper was due to the ever present budget crunch.

However, after my experience in the potty yesterday, I have a new theory. As I have mentioned before- there is one stall in the ladies room that is coveted above the others. This particular stall is called Paradise Potty. This morning when I was in the bathroom I took note that the TP supply in Paradise Potty was refilled. Yey. I was so excited I nearly did the TP Supply dance of joy (not to be confused with the Lack of TP dance. When I returned to the bathroom much later in the day- I noticed we were again- nearly out of paper. A-HA! A theory was born.

Because of the popularity of said stall- it is running out of paper far more rapidly than other stalls. I also noticed that the other stalls have more paper than Paradise potty. I think this is the reasoning. Not said budget crunch that gets blamed on everything else.

In other bathroom news, as regulars know I posted about the lip-shaped urinals that will NOT be installed by Virgin Airlines in their terminal. The company that makes the urinals- has some way out there designs…not only do they have lip-shaped urinals, they have an interesting towel rack, a hammock bathtub, and the most bizarre pot I have ever seen.

Also at work they have implemented a new strategy to save water: they have placed waterless urinals in one of the bathrooms- to see how they work. Do urinals use all that much water? I don’t know these things…having not the equipment to utilize urinals.
