I sure don’t have much to say right now. I paid my CKI dues so that I could participate in club elections.
Things worked out, for the most part, how they needed to. It would’ve been nice if we had some more old members running for stuff, but I guess there’s only so much you can do when the membership drive this year has been weak despite the effort Cathy’s put into it. I guess next year’s Membership Chair should take note that whatever was done this year doesn’t work.
Speaking of Cathy, she was endorsed for Int’l Office tonight, though not unanimously. Just tossing that out there for the CKI Rumor Mill to chew on.
Steven didn’t seek club endorsement, though I have my doubts about him actually not running. I tend to think he’ll run, he just didn’t want the conflict of having to face our club in caucus. It wouldn’t have been pretty. Through out his time in CKI he’s kinda done his own thing… if he didn’t want to do some required club activity, he’d just ditch or come up with some convenient excuse… but I’ve come to not expect very much, so it’s not shocking.
You know… now that I’ve paid dues I’m eligible to be a delegate-at-large at ICON… maybe I should go! Besides, Stevie-poo might need help running a website workshop that doesn’t suck. For that matter, depending on where I get into law school I could even run for office… hmmmmmmm… now THERE’S an interesting thought.

Oh, I don’t know… I bet I could handle it. After all, I was District Secretary, Membership Co-chair, and had 21 hours one semester…
