In light of the incident on Survivor…I am just wondering what other people think constitutes sexual harassment? Just in your eyes…not necessarily what the law thinks sexual harassment is.

Update: By the way- If you are interested in MY wishywashy opinion- you can read this post on my blog.

Well, in my eyes, sexual harassment is any activity that has the potential to make the opposite sex uncomfortable (or opposite preference, in the case of a gay man on another man, I think you get the point). It’s not harrasment unless it continues after the offended requests that it stop.

In terms of Sue and Hatch. They’ve had banter the entire season up to that point. Sue saw righ coming, one of her teammates told her to take another log, and she stood there, inviting trouble. No sympathy at all from me on that one.

Actually, I have to agree with Dennis. In my opinion, it does all come down to your own personal level of comfortability and whether the aggressor is continuing his or her actions after a request has been made to cease and desist.

As for me personally, I seem to have thicker skin than most when it comes to verbal sparring and innuendo, so what most of my friends and co-workers consider sexual harrassment generally doesn’t bother me; someone has to be incredibly forward before I’ll begin to feel uncomfortable. However, once I reach that point, I do consider it harrassment, and I do bring it to the attention of my superiors.
