Joining the ranks of Wesley Clark as a Damned Spammer, Carol Moseley Braun seems to have purchased a new, and disgusting, form of publicity known as “Referrer Advertising”… but it really amounts to spam. Moseley Braun his posting links in people’s referrers to her website, which I will not grace with a link, by using the StarProse system (which I will also not grace with a link.
I received the hit at 2:25pm from m002-01.bess.net (206.129.0.135) the user agent was “StarProse Referrer Advertising System 2004.”

UPDATE: I also received a similar hit from John Kerry’s website over at Blog Madness at 2:04pm. It was from the same host/IP, too.
