Official Moron

So the polling system is working pretty well, I guess, and It’s time for the first of what I hope will be weekly polls. Looking back over the storied history of this site I’ve noticed that a few morons stick out, but it’s hard to choose JUST ONE to be the Encyclopeteia’s Official Moron. That brings us to our first vote! Behold the following four candidates, who have all more than earned their nomination.

Our first nominee is a woman by the name of Renee — she took offense to the fact that I had issues with Becky Hitt (Holli’s mother). She wrote this brilliant ’sentence:’

“you r a terrible excuse for a human and yes i will say it a yankee human…….. you are never welcome in alabama again…… oh but that right u came to alabama didnt you . couldnt you have found a northern school who would take you??”

You can find the rest here. The strength in her nomination lies in the fact that she’d actually attach her name to something like what’s written above.


Second in line is Chris Woosley — an ever-brilliant and enlightened redneck, as evidenced by emails like this one and this one. Scanning back through old entries, you can see comments and references to this gem of a guy.


Third is not a person, but a group. While I have reconciled with a large number of these folks now that they’re not in office, the ‘02-’03 CKI Board still gets a nomination. You can see a lot of what they came up with here.


Finally, we have Joan, a poorly informed liberal peace-nik who believes a lot of things that make educated people laugh. You can find examples of her sheer idiocy in the comments of this post. She’s certainly the long shot, but this is America, where everyone gets a chance to be a winner.
