More on Israel

Today Bush made amends for his silly little pandering of a few days ago. Of the latest spat of conflict, he said: “The issue is Hamas. The terrorists are Hamas.” No kidding? The problem, though, is that he’s still relieving Palestine of the responsibility of reigning in Hamas. In this situation, Palestine’s condemnation of Hamas without action to resolve the problem amounts to little more than condonement with plausible deniability. Bush’s statement was, however, a step in the right direction.

I was intending to post about Law School today… where I’m looking, what I think about my chances, etc… but I read an article linked over at Michele’s and I feel compelled to link it with little other commentary.

So go check out Scott’s feelings on the situation. This is probably the most calm and well stated take on the Israel/Palestine situation that I’ve heard yet.

I hope everyone here in the US realizes that if the Arabs ever succeed in eliminating Israel, we’ll be next on their list.
