The semester is over with, and for the first time in quite a few years I really feel like I’m standing on the edge of a brand new future. That sounds really cheesy and stupid, and it may be, but that’s how I feel.
- My finals are done, the semester is over. In a few short days I’ll be back home to see the fam, the dogs, and hang out with friends (both old and new). Shortly thereafter I’m into a new summer apartment and headed off to work. We can hope that my ex-gf’s psycho mother doesn’t try to get me fired again. crosses-fingers
- I re-worked my schedule for next semester. I like it so far. Taking the last of my non-cs classes. I’ve got Algorithms with Dr. Bradford, which should be good. That’s something to not worry about for a few months, though.
- My housing arrangements for next semester are settled. I’ll be living with Abby’s Sister’s Friend’s Sister in a house about 5 miles from Tuscaloosa. It’ll be a commute, but the housemates seem nice, the house is gorgeous, and she has A DOG. (That’s a big perk, FYI)
- In what will be my last major push, I sent a letter to the entire Kiwanis International Board, asking them to step in and fix the mistakes made by the CKI Board and their small-minded efforts to scare people into agreeing with them. (Text of the Letter)
- Finally, I registered for the LSAT. I’m taking it on June 9th and I’ll be spending a lot of time between now and then learning everything I can to try to pull a 180 and get into a decent law school.
So the reason it feels like I’m on the brink of so many new things… is because I am. Neat, huh?
