It’s Friday. Yesterday I took a Software Design and Dev. Test. Today I took a stats test. I’ve heard that the class is twice as full on test days as on lecture days. I don’t know this to be the case because the last time I attended class was on the last test.
You might think that this would be a problem however, one must note: only about 3 people finished today’s test. I came within about 10 minutes of finishing. The test was open book. This means, at least to me, that he is not a very good teacher. If I can come as close to finishing as anyone in the class (save those three that got done), then I’d say that attending class is only marginally beneficial. However, the fact that I was not one of the three that finished it leads me to believe that I should start trying to attend that class at least once a week.
We’ll see how that goes. The SDD test review was a powerpoint presentation with 133 slides. This was bad. I decided that, instead of studying those slides, I should just focus on what was on the first test last semester. This was a good idea. The tests were almost identical.
This weekend I plan to do: almost nothing. I’ve got some fun plans for next weekend lined up, though. You’ll just have to stay tuned as they develop.
