Setting the Record Straight

On Sunday, upon returning home from CK District Convention, I wrote an entry about it, and how well the club did. Missing the point entirely, a certain individual decided to tell me just how much I suck.

It appeared that this individual was Grace, an LTG here in the Alabama District, and there were some not-so-kind comments shot back in her direction as a result of the comment.

Today I received a phone call from Grace, who was concerned about the comment because, surprise, she didn’t write it! Being the skeptic and cynic that I am, I did some checking to see what was up, and it turns out that the comment was NOT made by Grace.

In fact, while it’s impossible to be 100% certain who made it, I’d say (with a high degree of certainty) that the person who made the comment was Audrey Krumbach, a seemingly bitter member from Huntingdon College, who is always extra nice to me in person. Such integrity some folks have. While there is the chance that this is also not a correct attribution, there’s probably not much (short of a confession by someone else) that would convince me that she was not responsible.

At any rate, the attribution of the comment has been changed accordingly, and all comments directed at Grace have been removed. I certainly hope Grace will forgive the fact that I didn’t do enough research to begin with to realize that the comment wasn’t correctly attributed, and I apologize for any problems or confusion that she may have encountered.
