A few weeks ago, all of my 400-level CS Classes were advertising this job opening with some University run project. Because I’m a huge computer nerd, and that was one of the qualifications, I sent in a resume. Today I have an interview for said position. I’m not sure what the interview will be like, but I’m not terribly worried about it.
From what I can tell, the job will involve working on one of a number of different tasks related to a Crash Information Database (for car accidents). Seems pretty neat. More later, I’m sure.
I’m also taking a small break from Circle K today. It’s been a busy busy week, and I need a day of limited CK work to keep what’s left of my sanity. I think my teachers would also like to see me in class some today. Just a thought.
UPDATE: Interview went as well as can be expected. There are skills they want that I don’t know very well, and my main skill set is not really applicable. Despite that, I give myself about a 60% chance. Though I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to have time to work. Hmmm… we’ll see.
