Not too long ago, I discussed the fact that Blondes might become extinct some day. That, now, has been refuted — it was allegedly based on a WHO report that the WHO denies publishing. Courtesy of Slashdot, we now have a report that claims that redheads are wimps. More precisely, researchers have found that redheads are more sensitive to pain and that the same stimulus will yield a greater pain response. As a result, redheads require 20% more anesthesia than other patients. I’m not sure quite what to make of it, but I’m certain it means that redheads shouldn’t reproduce.
In other news, last week I took a midterm. It was my third visit to class (my first visit coming 7 or 8 weeks earlier, on the first day of class). I got the midterm back today and managed a 90% (that’s an A, for those of you scoring at home). Next time your professor tells you that class attendance has a direct correlation with grades, you can call their bluff.
I still say brunettes are superior to all. And our scoring for an A was 92%.
Heh… well, here there\’s no standardized grading scale, and in that class a 90% is an A.
I have a high tolerance for pain… And just \’cause somebody is in more pain during childbirth than someone else, doesn\’t mean they shouldn\’t do it!
Not that I plan to, especially not any time soon, but whatever.
Now the thought of getting that grade and only attending 3 classes - that makes me sad… as a prof anyhow. As a student I\’d never have been able to do that - woulda made me too nervous.
But redheads sure are SEXY….WOWZERS! Yep…too much inspector gadget as a child…GO GO GADGET @#&$#!
