If you don’t live here in Tuscaloosa, you might have guessed that I fell off the face of the planet. Of course, it’s not true (to the supreme disappointment of some). I’ve just been quite busy. You know, actually going to class and studying makes class a lot easier, but it sure does cut down on free time. I’m not sure if I’m liking the trade off.

The class update is something like this… my 200-level stats class is still going through the basics. I swear, maybe some people need this kind of babying in a college class, but I don’t’ think anyone in THAT room does. If they do, I’d just assume them flunk out of school. It’d make things easier on me. The fast food industry is always hiring. Japanese is going surprisingly well, although we’ve learned a lot, we still aren’t anywhere near functional. That’s ok. I’m also hunting for a good Hiragana font… anyone have one of those? Physics is actually a lot of fun. We’ve now had a complete week of it, and I MUCH prefer the “Studio Physics” to the “Lecture Physics.”

Speaking of physics, there’s a girl (who happens to be engaged) who is now trying to set me up with a friend of hers. Very odd. It took her a good 10 minutes to convince me that she wasn’t joking… by which time class was almost over. During part of her convincing she off-handedly mentioned that said girl’s sister was in playboy. Needless to say, that didn’t help the convincing much. Additionally, for those of you scoring at home, I managed to walk home with the girl from that class from the other day again. I’ve got that class again on Wednesday (Thank goodness for Labor Day) so it should be more fun and games on the 4th.

Speaking of this coming Wednesday, [Circle K] is participating in the organizational fair that day. It should be a good day for us. We’ve got a group of people really excited about the year who are going to help our wonderful Membership Chair recruit 200 or 300 members. :)

In my off time I’ve been lazy. Not spending much time in front of the computer, except that I’ve gotten a chance to chat with a few people that I’ve really wanted to. Of course, I’ve also NOT gotten a chance to chat with a few that I’ve really wanted to, so I guess you win some, you lose some.

Hopefully I’ll be winning more soon.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Bama won its season opener against Middle Tennessee State on Saturday. ROLL TIDE!
