Well, I haven’t posted anything substantial in a while, so here goes…

Last night I did Laundry. Not enough, mind you, but some. While I was doing that, I got a chance to play the newest release from Blizzard Software: Warcraft III. This is really a slick game. Beautiful graphics and gameplay. I’ve not gotten around to doing much with it, but I love the way the campaigns play, look, and feel much more like an RPG than a RTS. The new races are great, and it’s just a fun game. Go buy it. (Hint: half.com has copies for under $40 — a good savings from the $65+tax retail)

Wait wait… backup… WHY was I doing laundry? Simple! Tomorrow at 3:00am I head to the airport for a flight to Alabama. The [Circle K] club has a board meeting this coming weekend, so it’s kinda useful if I’m there to lead it. I’ll be out, but I’ll have my cell phone. Feel free to call. I’ll have limited access to email and the site, but I will have access. Leave love!

The Remote Trackback proof of concept is coming along well… I signed up several alpha-testers today, hopefully some more people will jump on the bandwagon soon. I’d really like to thank kd, Shelagh, Batgrl, Sergio, Faith, Kare, Tess, Daniel, Lee and others for their help and support over the past few days as this has been progressing. I probably forgot someone. Sorry.

Well kids… play nice while I’m gone… there may be posts and/or appearances from me before then, but I’ll be back on Sunday.

Update: I knew I forgot something… Batgrl alerted me to the trailer for The Two Towers (the second of three Lord of the Rings movies.) It’s very, very good… find it here.

Well, there aren\’t any internet cafes around, but I do have a key to the Circle K office, so that should do. Hi!

I just wanted to report that, for those of you who doubted that Pete could survive in Alabama! that I have seen him alive and well today, and in my very own sweet home state.

Ever defending and loving the \”backward\” South.
