Amy managed to convince someone to hire her. Food service isn’t much fun, but you get some GREAT stories out of it.
kd seems to be over her Trackback fetish, but I think I’m going to work on integrating the feature here eventually. It could be quite neat.
Someone claims to be a “sex information goddess” in a recent entry… if you still haven’t figured out where babies come from, she’s the one to talk to.
My Reverse Stalking Tools have alerted me that I am #6 on a google for funny skinny people and #4 on an images-google for ugly loser heh… at least I’m a FUNNY ugly loser. 
I’ve also taken an editor position over at Geek News Central and posted my inagural post. Though I’ve said it before, everyone even remotely geeky should be reading over there. It’s full of good stuff.
Recently I’ve had an urge to write about my tastes in the female gender, but we’ll have to save that for another day… ’cause I don’t feel like going there right this minute… discussion like that really requires a litany of disclaimers and I’m not in a disclaimatory mood.

The problem is that once people know just one part of your tastes, they run with it and assume that\’s the only thing you look for. My coworkers have taken it upon themselves to keep a look out for me, and have requested a PFS (what normally would mean Programming/Product Functional Specification in my business). I guess to them it means Perfect Female for Sergio, while my friends now call it Poon Functional Spec.

Hmmm… that\’s scary. In my experience, straight women have very poor taste in other women (using the taste of straight males as a guide). I guess that makes sense, though.

Maybe according to straight males females have poor taste in other females. I think it\’s because females are much better at realizing that another females is dumb/ditzy/fake/needy/whorish/etc. Males tend to not notice these things as much if the girl is hot.

I\’m speaking more in terms of looks here… especially because some guys don\’t mind dumb, ditzy, fake, needy, or whorish. In fact, some guys prefer them that way.

I learned my lesson long ago: never attempt a set-up for any of my friends or fam. I\’m still receiving hate mail fifteen years after the last one. I will, however, provide a lengthy discourse upon my views of her personality and quirks so that said friends may make a logical decision…unless, of course, she\’s gorgeous, in which case said discourse is rendered virtually useless.
And that should read former Sex Information Goddess. The pedestal only stood for around three blocks…..

i\’m not over my trackback fetish at all — i just realized i needed to post about other stuff, so there would be *context* for the trackbacks. pinging things about other pings is pointless. context is what will make everyone think trackbacking is fun. no, i\’m not over my fetish.

I\’m not sure if you know this but if you download the MT information/manual (and it\’s probably in the docs on the website itself) it explains the whole Trackback code and it welcomes other blog tools to recreate it. They said they want this to be feature offered everywhere and not limited to MT blogs. Also, I\’m a big fan of geek news and so proud of you. I\’m off to there now to see what you\’ve written!
