This afternoon I spent working on Webthology, I got a good bit done… including the browsing and display of works in the database. Next on the agenda is either Links / Link Administration or User Profile display. Should be good times…

The big highlight of the day, however, was a phone call from my favoritest twins, Faye and Emily. They called to see if I wanted to go out to eat… of course, they had ulterior motives, wanting me to assist with a computer upgrade, but it’s all good.

We took a little ride to Best Buy (I love best buy) and managed to get the memory chip (128mb PC133 SDRam) for $22 (after mail-in rebate). That’s such a good price I almost felt bad… but I didn’t. The three of us decided to eat at a little (ok, not so little) Mexican Restaurant and we talked about all sorts of things. Among other things, Emily pointed out that they “had a typo on their meno&#091sic&#093.” Talk about the pet calling the kettlo black!

On the way out, Faye decided to spit ice at the nice man at the cash-register. These yankees… whatever will I do with them? She claims it was an accident — yeah, likely story. We went to Emily’s cavernous apartment (goodness it’s big) to pick up a vaccuum cleaner, which had nothing to do with the upgrade, thank goodness, and then headed on back to Faye’s where we determined that we were lacking one cable (25′ of Cat5, to be precise) to get the whole mess going. Well… back to Best Buy we went (have I mentioned how much I like that place?). Apparently the girls had made a few trips to the Electronics Wonderland before I had arrived — I think the workers knew them on a first name basis.

We returned ONCE AGAIN to Faye’s place and found everything to be in working order. Faye now has DSL, woohoo! (that’s “digital subscriber line”… ya bunch of perverts) We watched a movie and Em and I headed back to our respective places of living, and thus my evening out was complete.

At some point we decided that I had Alzheimer’s, but I don’t recall exactly when that was… or why…

Hmm… where was I? Aw, screw it… g’night!
